Trophy Buck

Deer Season opened
yesterday...

Hunters with rifles
were armed and looking
for that trophy buck...

Our neighborhood
roads were busy...

If I were a deer in this neighborhood,
I would keep my head down!

Cause, deer hunting around here
is a family tradition...

The more points you have,
the more hunters you have on your trail....

This 6x6 buck wandered out too far...

now our friends wife has to figure
out how to keep it off of her living room wall!

I'm happy Sall doesn't have a deer license,
my walls are full!

Happy Sunday, friend!

Love your autumnal landscapes in that dreamy way you edit them. Yummy.

Nice pictures as usual. I think a lot of vehicles were wearing racks on their grills after this weekend. Saw lots of roadkill between here and SF.

What a fantastic buck! In this part of the country, we would call that a 12 point. :-)

Wonderful photos ! The guns have been going off here for some time now, if it isn't one hunting season it's another lol! Have a good day !
Lisa ... catching up on your posts ... great photos!! My father was a seasoned pheasant hunter and your photos would have him smiling ~ seeing your photos, brought back wonderful memories of my father.

WOW that is definitely a trophy buck! Hubby has been sitting in his deer stand ~ and though the nature camera captures these marvelous animals ... he has not been as fortunate as your friend, this year. Good luck to your friend's wife - in keeping it off the living room wall ... after all it is a 12 pointer!!! Happy Thanks Giving...

Great photos and great trophy deer . . . love the photo with every one in an orange hat or vest . . .
Love your fall photos. That's a nice big buck. My grandson shot one and I posted a photo of him. He'll probably have it on his bedroom wall.
