Lost in Blogland

Have you ever went
blog hopping???
Checking out the blogs you follow...
(well duh?) we all do that!!
But, then do ya find a new blog that
your followers follow...
then find something interesting,
hmmm... save that thought,
then back to comment
on follower of the followed blog,
now where was that new blogger?
Oh here's something interesting...
hit follow here!
Pretty soon it's 2 hours later
you're back to the 2nd blogger
on your follow list and you
forgot where you saw that
great recipe for
Chicken Tetrazzini!!
Ugghhhh...
(are you following me?)

I can't tell you how many times I've done this!!

In fact, just the other day I was skipping
around, enjoying a lengthy blog tour de'world
and I lost track of a really interesting
recipe for making soap....

After totally giving up on the idea of
retracing my search history,
(I'll google it when I'm ready, I thought)
Then a comment came up on one
of my posts!!
"Thank goodness I found you,
are you the one that posted the Zote Soap Recipe?"
HUH??
How could she possibly know???
It was just too uncanny!!
After about a half of a second I chuckled and started
searching my memory and blogs that I follow....
I don't know, call it a mission, call it fate, call it whatever you want
but, I had to find that soap recipe for my blogger friend!
After all, I would love it if somebody did it for me.
I found the recipe and forwarded a link to
my friend, she quickly responded with a
huge thank you and followed up with
quote "gesh, I love bloggers!" unquote

The moral of my story is that I love blogging,
and love all the wonderful people I've met and
shared comments with in this past year of blogging.
I try to explain it to people who don't blog and find
it impossible to convey how gratifying it is.
So to all of my friends and visitors, "Thank you so much!"
If you ever need a friend just call me....(or leave me a comment)

I'll be here with a shoulder to cry on
or some bad advice or maybe some
good advice, whatever the case it'll be free advice!

I'll steer you in the right direction anyhow...
Or
you can just stay awhile and we'll chat!

Thanks for stopping by Sall's Country Life,
we love your company!

P.S.  BTW, here is the link to that great soap recipe

Oh Lisa, you are so right--it is so gratifying and there is something a person can’t understand about how nurturing and supportive this community is. I am so happy I found it and I am happy I found you too :)

I can so relate! Blogger rolls are the most dangerous feature out there! I start clicking and get lost in some new world and then another and another... :)

I am slow, not retarded, but slow, nonetheless. I have such a hard time with that link thing..... If I spot somebody interesting, I just add them to my "most visited" and keep track of them till I decide if I want to follow them or not. I have met a lot of people that way! Yah, Sharon the stalker, LOL!

Lisa, I have spent way too many nights reading through one blog to the next when I should be getting my beauty sleep, but darn it, there's just so many blogs to read and so many wonderful things going on. I'm so glad you found your soap recipe, the story is precious!
