Bake Me A Cake

A wedding just isn't complete
without a wedding cake!!

The bride and groom had
their moments over ordering
an expensive wedding cake...

Groom C was content with
a sheet cake
but,
Bride T wanted something
a little nicer to look at!

They both learned a
good lesson in compromise
and made a beautiful choice....

A small decorated fruit cake!
With edible seaside decorations

Added several more
beautiful pastry desserts
and the cake table was complete!

Isn't it gorgeous?

Too pretty to eat...

But, too expensive not to enjoy,
right Charlie?

Thanks for stopping by,
hope you get to have your cake
and eat it too! (sorry :)
Love always,

Sharing today with Marty and her Tabletop Tuesday,
c'mon over and join us!

It was a beautiful cake. Could have used an extra day just to sit and admire it, right bride? MOB

What a perfect compromise! The cake is beautiful. I really like that the seashell motif is made in pink.

I'm trying hard to avoid sweets, so seeing all the goodies on the wedding cake table had to satisfy my appetite for them. No matter the cost of the cake, I'm sure the bride and groom thought it was worth it!
