Wind Beneath My Sails

"The pessimist complains about the wind;
the optimist expects it to change;
the realist adjusts the sails."
                      William Arthur Ward

I swear Max can put his nose
to the wind and smell a steak grilling
100 miles away.

The wind and the rolling grasses
make the asparagus hunt a dizzying experience.

Mr. and Mrs. Pheasant have decided to nest
in the middle of a spring wheat field...

"My sails are always taking me in a circle!"

Where are you heading today?

thanks for stopping by!

Good Morning!! Your quotes are a good way to start my day! I also wonder what our pups are smelling as they stand there with their noses to the wind--I wonder if they're remembering something from long ago, or are they being told of something to come, like a bite of steak? :-)

Enjoy your weekend!!

I take it, it has been as windy in SD as in NE these past few days.

Calm here now. I hope it stays that way for awhile!

Great photos. :)
