Want a ride on my merry-go-round this Monday?
I feel like I've been riding on it all weekend!
It's time for me to get off
and let somebody else
have a turn!
FOUR paint projects going on in the new painting studio....
advertisement poster and (of course) bloggin'
going on at the computer....
massive weeding going on in the yard...
a broken down lawn mower
(tire gone bad) sitting in the yard...
thank goodness the heat has slowed down the grass-growing process!
garden needs watering,and some new trees, and those planters on the porch!...
Hubby says "come fishing with me, the work around here will
be here when we get back!"
Of course, he's right!
and
the merry-go-round
goes
round
and
round!

I remember the merry-go-round! It was so much fun. Now the merry go round, involves cars, and kids, and finances, and yard work and.... I am with you, I want to get off too!
with our heat and drought, nothing's growing so no yard work. just late evening watering to try to save some smaller trees. otherwise, it's indoors in the A/C for the greater part of the day. no merry-go-round here (unless you count dogs in/dogs out/dogs in/dogs out/dogs in... you get the picture. :)
life is pretty simple for me....just the way i love it!! i hope you went fishing!!!
No motorized lawnmower needed around here this Summer. When one little spot or another needs a quick trim, I get out the old reel mower and go to town. Your husband is right, the work will still be there tomorrow. Enjoy today.
merry-go-rounds make me dizzy, never liked them. what am I missing?
Sounds like you need to get off the go-round and hop on the teeter-totter and balance things out?

Oh, I hear you, Lisa, summer is going by so fast I feel like I'm on the merry-go-round right along with you. And when I get off, I'm staggering, lol. We have so much work to do around here too, and what did we do last night? Went to the county fair! (No, I didn't get on the merry-go-round, though!)
Hi Lisa! What a fun blog you have here! I know what you mean about the merry-go-round! Living on a farm...well...things just seem to never get done. There's always a "to-do" list, isn't there?
