Whatever Floats Your Boat

Not too many vehicles come down our lonely road...
the mail lady...
the fuel truck...
and the grain trucks (during harvest)

and,

every other Tuesday
 our favorite...

the ice cream truck!!

It is such a welcome
sight in the heat of the summer!

Definitely something to crow about...

there is something about
a root beer float on a hot summer day
that just makes my heart sing!!!

Cheers!
and
Have a happy Tuesday!

I remember, not too long ago, we had him come. The stuff was a little pricey, but, oh, what treats!

Only once every two weeks? That makes it a real treat. Around here, they're up and down the tracts across the road every day. Kind of takes the specialness away.

I love your road, very similar to ours, but we finally did get it blacktopped sometime back. The 'Swanny's Man' goes through here every week, but I've resisted the temptation to flag him down...a root beer float sounds just Delicious right about now!

:) Schwans... gotta be a welcome site in the country. if i buy ice cream, i do the buy-and-race-home-12 miles-in-the-heat routine... and if i'm lucky, it is the perfect soft and gushy texture when i arrive... :)

We used to have a "Schwann's man" when we lived at the other farm. We had more money back then. ;)
