Sharing Some Green

Longing for Springtime....

tired of brown grasses and empty branches.

Three inches of snow fell on us Sunday...

but it's okay

  cause we need the moisture....
for spring blossoms to come...

and the grass to turn green....

Can't wait to hang outside...
do some raking
and open the windows....

Run in the grass
and stomp in the mud!

In the meantime....

Lots of planning to do...

Planters in Kansas City

Probably a good thing
we don't live any
closer to
Planters...

What's your favorite
garden store?

Needless to say,
I'm seedless today...
My fate is to wait,
so have a nice day!

My green thumb is itching for some soil and seeds. I need to be patient this year as I planted to early last year.

Hey, no green until I get a good blizzard. And if you don't want a blizzard then call my boss and tell her to just give me a couple of snow days.

I love old glass, especially those green canning jars! It is spring here but that is normal for us. I start my tomatoes right after Christmas! We mostly just have the big chain stores around here for garden stuff,Lowes and Home Depot and then the local feed stores always have a few things.

What lovely photos, especially the jars. My favorite gardening store is the Perennial Gardener in Ft. Collins, CO. Located in Old Town, it everything from gazing balls, to garden fairies, to garden art both inside and out. Your little store looks charming, too.
It was nearly 60 degrees here in Virginia today and the sun was out. If that doesn't make you get spring fever, nothing will, and it did!! I'm resisting the urge to start looking at plants that are starting to arrive at the chain stores, because then I really want spring to hurry up, and I'm still hoping hoping hoping for at least one snow fall this year! :-)

I almost stopped in at our local nursery, but was in a rush -- probably best. :)
