Sweet Nothings

Have you been thinking
about your garden?

Anything popping out
of the ground yet?

I can't wait to get
started on some planting!

My canned goods
are almost
depleted...

Canned tomatoes...

apples...

relish...

salsa

and PICKLES!

What will you make this year?

Jellies and Jams...

Pickles and Relish...

 Ahhhh,
the sweet smell
of vinegar
and pickling spice...

Mmmmm...

Pleasant day dreams my friend,

I used Kim's texture "felicity"
on my sweet nothing image...
Linking with Kim Klassen

With my husband working out of town for the past year -- it's not really practical to put in a big garden this year. We have trouble eating up what we have from last year. But I'll plant tomatoes and peppers for sure. And potatoes! :)

Love the editing on your old jar photo, Lisa. Don't you just love 'em? :)
Oh sweetie, even though this day began a frosty 22 degrees the high is suppose to climb to 67. Days like this surly does give me a heck of a dose of Spring Fever.

I want to get dirt under my nails and tend to my gardens but in this frost holler I don't dare plant 'till after May 15th. after our last hard freeze.

It's hard baby.

My daylilies keep peakin' up through the ground but also keep gettin' bit back again.

God bless ya and for now I'll just keep flippin' through my seed catalogs!!!

Have an amazin' day sweetie!!! :o)

At least my daffodils and crocuses
know what time of year it is,they are in full bloom. My azalias and
morning glory are almost finishing
having flowered out of season.
I sometimes make jam but thats all,
don't seem to find the time.:)

I soooo can't wait either! We are fixing up a little house in the country and will have a garden this year! It will be our first since we have been married. It is returning home for me, but my husband has always lived in the city and has never had a garden. Can't wait to intruduce him to good living!
