Just A Bunch Of Bull

(cue the Spanish bullfighting music here.)

source: internet google: bullfight

We had an interesting visitor at our
place the other night....

I grabbed the camera and then
carefully kept the truck between
me and our visitor at all times...

he didn't seem too interested in me,
by the sounds of the ugly noises he
was making....
......
well, it sounded like he was looking
for a little companionship
but,
not the two legged kind!

When he didn't see any
heifers in our yard he
turned around and went back
the way he came....

He makes our silo look small!!

That's been the only excitement around here lately....

Well, that and watching
the storms pass through...

They are fun to watch....

Our friend, Jacob,
visits every summer from
North Carolina...
he gets to experience some
very different weather from back home!

Thought you might enjoy some of our
many amazing cloud formations...

one thing about living on the prairie
you can look Mother Nature right in the eye
right before she plasters
you with rain and hail,
and a gust or two
of tree-rockin wind!!

Whew! What was scarier...the bull or the clouds? Us South Dakotans are either tough or just stupid, we stand outside and take pictures instead of heading for the basement. But I suppose someone had to look after the bull.
That's one big bull, but those thunderheads are huge. Beautiful cloud pictures. Did you get a lot of rain out of them?

That is one large bull and very wise on your part to keep the truck between you and him eventho he prefers the 4 legged kind. Such magnificent cloud formations. Beautiful captures!!

Now that is a bunch of bull. Hopefully he found his way home. I love looking at clouds. Today, though, it is hard to tell the real cloud from the plumes of smoke from the still burning forest fire west of us. You cloud photos really are amazing.
