A Pathetic Earth Day

April 22nd...

Earth Day....

"for cryin' out loud
I should be out planting
PETUNIAS!!"

instead, I'm stuck inside
watching another
blizzard
from my
living room window...

the temps are warm enough,
half of it is melting
and half of it is
sticking to anything
it lands on...

it did make
for a pretty
picture,

especially with
my newly refurbished
leaded glass in the picture...

Sall took out the 100 year old
window and replaced it
with double-paned insulated glass

he framed the original
leaded glass
and hung it back in
place so it looks
original and feels a lot
warmer than 100 years ago!!

 So, while the snows are
swirling around outside,
I was warm and cozy
and
BUSY
making blocks!

Orders have been coming
in
for
Mother's Day,
Graduations,
and
Father's Day...

I've blurred out the pictures,
but I gotta say...
some really cute blocks
are getting sent out this week!

Some lucky souls
are going to be very surprised
when they see their
treasured memories
captured on a cube

and

hearts will be touched
when they read the
sentiments meant for them
and only them...

It's made being
stuck inside in late April
quite enjoyable!

I can just imagine how these
memory blocks will open the doors
to a past filled with happy memories
and joyous times with loved ones!

So,
even if it is Earth Day
and blizzarding outside
and, yes, PATHETIC...
for April 22nd!!

my passion is (for now)
making "Memory Blocks"
and as soon as this snow melts...
I'll be planting
me some PETUNIAS!!

Happy Earth Day!
Lisa

Looking outside my window today looked much the same as your's did. But you have a lovely leaded glass in your window.
Your blocks look really cute. Glad you were creative today. I didn't accomplish much.
Hopefully we will be planting petunias soon.

Soooooooooooo sorry for your ugly weather. I can only imagine how depressed I would be if it was still snowing and icing here. I guess I have nothing to complain about when it's cold and damp here. I really feel for you.
Your new window is lovely and so are the pics.

Kind of like a Springtime April Bah Humbug . . . I hope soon you will be saying, yippee, no more snow!

I really love the cubes and I had best intentions until spring cleanups outdoors caused me to not look for photos. I will have to place my order for another time . . . Happy you have had people ordering and keeping you busy.

Sunshine this morning, rain this afternoon so outdoors I go to do more garden/lawn clean up . . . The best part, sun and fresh spring air!

Happy days to you, love, love, love your leaded glass window!

17 degrees this morning! Aren't you glad you are making blocks and not keeping a greenhouse warm? Love those blocks.

Congrats on the success of your new venture! That's awesome.

You received the worst of that last storm -- I'm hoping and wishing that we can finally stick a fork in winter now. xo
