After the Storm

After a night of lightning and thunder, I had to go out and see how things fared.

My planter boxes survived well, because I can tuck them under the porch roof at the first sign of bad weather. This cheery yellow petunia is very appreciative!

The clouds are looming...could be in for another night of storms.

This tired old window doesn't stop any rain from going into the barn, but the birds love it! It's their doorway to shelter.

We got almost an inch of rain, was surprised the pond wasn't over-flowing.

Good thing frogs like water!

The irises are still beautiful!

The garden is wet , wet , wet !!
