Those Were the Days

"It's all in the packaging"
Always has been, always will be.....

When I came across these old pickle labels on Etsy,
I just couldn't resist!!  Can't you just see these on the shelf at the corner market circa 1940?
Those were the good ol' days...when products were American made and REAL.
Today, the experts and dietitians are preaching to read the label, know what you are eating!
Avoid this, stay away from that.  And most of the ingredients on a label today are
un-pronounceable and you'd have to be a scientist to know what the heck it is.

We are very proud of our product (just ask anybody,ha), and the labels that go on the jars.
All natural ingredients - you don't have to have a P.H.D. in chemistry to figure out what's in our pickles.
Still the same simplicity as 70 years ago and the same great taste.

If we could just turn back the clock to those simpler times.
Avoid the 10 minutes looking for a parking spot, stay away from the 40 aisles of endless choices to make,
and totally avoid the yawning checker waiting to scan your items too many times so you can return
to the customer service and wait in line another ten minutes for your refund.

Put my pickles on the top shelf at Hook's Store.
Don't worry, everyone knows where to find'em, they're the only ones they carry!
Then, watch the customers flock in to buy them. Only to eat the whole jar before they get all the local gossip, the weather, and all the goin's on talked about.
Ahhhh, simpler times.....

Forgot about the jar, I'm buying my pickle out of the pickle barrel!
