Honeymooners' Visit

Sall Farm had some great company this last weekend!!

Eric and Rachel have been living too far away in New York City for the last 3 years.  Now that they are living in Kansas City, we are happy because there will be more frequent visits!! YeaHHH!
This trip was accompanied by Rachel's brother Garrett and his lovely bride, Melanie.
They were recently married in California.
We were honored that they put Sall Farm on their honeymoon itinerary!!

Another first time visitor on this trip was little Wyatt!!
The last time he visited, it was inside his Mama's belly!

It's mid-September and most of the garden tools have been put away....so we had plenty of time to do fun things and just relax!
We enjoyed a short hike out to the trees (the bugs let us know quickly that we were not welcome in their territory).  There was some cut-throat games of crochet and bocce ball.
Everybody got to shoot the gun....

No moving targets....
Just some old cucumbers!!

Of course, there were tractor rides.....

And plenty of pictures....
Grandpa setting up some of his prize pumpkins with his prize Grand-son....

Wyatt took it all in...and really enjoyed the farm!

Great food was prepared....

And we were fortunate to have wind-free evenings three nights in a row, so the campfires burned and the party went on into the dark of night.
The nearby coyotes kept us all on watch!!

Mel set up her camera for some extra fun!...
We all had a blast making awesome figures in the darkness and capturing them in digital pix.
There were quite the imaginative drawings captured!!!
We all had some good laughs.

Quite the fun bunch, it was sad to see them all leave...
Can't wait to see you all again at the farm...
Until next time.......

"I'll be back for my tractor ride Grandpa!"

Good Night from,
