Hung.Hot.
We grew Hungarian hot wax peppers for the first time this year.
For some unknown reason it wasn't a great pepper growing kind of year....
We harvested peppers, but only a quarter of what we had last season.
Gardening always keeps you guessing and experimenting....
The Hungarian Hot's were grown with a specific chutney recipe in mind....
Chop, Chop, Chop....
Chop, Chop, Chop some more....
Bowl empty (isn't it fun?)
Add vinegar, mustard, and sugar....
then process...
And you have a wonderful hot and sweet pepper chutney to spread over cream cheese on a cracker!!
We love it....
and it's been a hit with everyone we serve it to!!
Still experimenting with the label.
Having a lot of fun with this one...
What do you think?
Keep it or go with something else?
If everything works right, it will be on the website next year along with the
Sall Farm pickles. By the way if you're looking for a great tasting, juicy, crunchy, dill pickle...
check ours out!!
"The best pickle you'll ever try!"
Happy Fall Y'all!!!

Love the label, although you did have me wondering with the title of the post....
Such a cute pumpkin bowl, too. He's all ready for his big time of year.
