We take care of the land...it takes care of us.

We're just a couple of country dwellers......

Mosaic Monday

A short walk with Max in the morning is the best way to start my day.
There's nothing like a little quality time with him and the great outdoors.

Today I'm thanking the weather gods for giving us this pleasing weather into November.
"Sorry about your luck over there in Minnesota and Iowa!"

Our firewood pile is growing and the snow shovels have been
relocated to the front and back doors
In the meantime, I'm taking in all the warm weather mother nature can give us.
Hope you're doing the same!!

It's Mosaic Monday...
and this one is dedicated to all the dogs we know and love.
(it was Max's idea)

Best friends Spring, Summer, Fall and Winter!

Also to those we've loved and lost....
They watched over us day and night while they were here with us,
now they are watching over us from heaven.

I hope you and your hound  have a great week!
Lisa

I'm sharing this with Mary at Little Red House...
come check out some more mosaics with me!

Max had a great idea! Loved these mosaics of Max and other furbabies and to those who have passed but still live in our hearts. Lovely.

Lisa, what a beautiful mosaic! Taking an early morning walk with Max must be wonderful. And to your wonderful dogs who have gone on before, this poem by an unknown author:

I explained to St. Peter,
I'd rather stay here,
Outside the pearly gate.
I won't be a nuisance,
I won't even bark,
I'll be very patient and wait.
I'll be here, chewing on a celestial bone,
No matter how long you may be,
I'd miss you so much ,
If I went in alone,
It wouldn't be heaven for me.
