Blizzard 2010

So much for party plans for New Year's Eve!
This is the view down our country roads today.....

The infamous "Sall Pass" has been
shut down for a week already.
Now, we're worried about our only other
road "out" getting shut down also!!

Oh well....
the wood burner is going and there is plenty of food,
we'll ride out the storm and
watch 2011 howl on in with all it's fury!

You know the old saying....

"When life hands you lemons, make lemonade?...."

I'm making snow globes!

Warm wishes....

Oh, that looks cold and miserable, fine weather to stay put and just make snow globes! Cute, BTW!

New Years will happen no matter what, make your own party! Happy New Year!
Good advice Sharon, that's what we'll do...or just be in bed early! Ha!

Love that snow globe, can I get one for my desk. Would be great next summer when the temps top 100! Maybe get a summer one for now? Happy New Year...b

Oh my gosh! That sure is alot of snow! We have been missing getting hit by all of the storms! I actually would like a bit more of the fresh stuff, just not as much as you. Your "snow globe" is amazing! And to answer your question, I often think that in 10 years or so, we will be redoing all of our projects and stripping all of that paint off:)!

We sure have been lucky here ~ everyone else seems to be getting all the snow. You sound like you're ready for it and well prepared. Stay warm and Happy New Year!

Hi Lisa! Greetings from northern Wyoming! It's snowy & blowy here too!

We're in the kitchen cooking clam chowder... been to the grocery store.... let it snow. We'll be cozy at home with our family.

Enjoy your New Year's Eve party at home!!!! Happy New Year!
