Hope For Spring

The sun is out, the temps. are up
the snow is receding...
maybe there
is hope for spring
after all!!

We had an uplifting weekend...
With warm temperatures,
we took a drive around the
neighborhood and could actually
see the snow melting away
and the fields showing themselves
once again.

Our road to the east is now open...
YEAH!

If it can stay above 30,
it may STAY open!!

The huge piles at our corner
show the massive amount
of snow the county had to move
before our neighbor could
go through with the snow blower!

It was really nice to be able to drive in
from the east once again.  It's been 6 weeks!

Oh, there will be some
shoveling to do yet...
with a little luck, the
sun will take care of it for me!

At any rate, we are still holding
at camp...

a little more waiting
for Mother Nature
to get every last
storm out of her system!

While we wait....
there will be some
heavy-duty organization
going on.

Then it's back home!!

Have a great Monday!

It's Mosaic Monday and I'm linking
with Mary at Little Red House once again.

thankyou for sharing your snowy pictures with us. I don't have snow where I live so I always enjoy seeing it through other peoples cameras.

Lovely pictures! I for one, enjoy the snow pictures, as we only see rain in the winter. :0)

This years snows have been crazy for us..our country friends do have to wait much longer to be dug out...makes me glad I live in town. Although this year I did have a country friend bring his HUGE tractor with a scoop and blade in to dig us out....enjoyed that country loving help.

Beautiful photos...oh, you still have so much snow! Hope it warms up enough to melt it all...
Lisa,

It is almost over! You must really be ready for spring. Your photos are lovely.

Happy Valentine's Day!

Carol
We had warm temps today, but not sun. I so want spring, I am done with the snow. Great shots.

My Mom used to sprinkle the ashes from the wood stove on the paths around the place. The dark ashes would absorb the heat from the sun and melt the snow much quicker and the ashes were good for the soil.

Glad you are starting to dig out!
