Scentsy To the Rescue!

This humid weather has brought up
every rotten smell from my damp basement,
and my sweaty husband dog,
and every cooking smell just lingers
in the house!

Uggghhhh!

Candles put off too much heat
(just makes the air conditioner work harder)
and my little incense smoking gardener
could get lung cancer trying to keep up
with all these stinky smells!

My Scentsy
flameless candle has been
a real life saver!

I love the summer scents I just got!
and now the house smells like Cucumber Lime!....

Yep, a cross between  the1st phase of pickle makin'
(washing all those dang cukes)
and
the final phase...
which is: slicin' the lime to put in my margarita
after the last jar of pickles is out of the hot water bath!

Ahhh, pure heaven...
which is where my
Scentsy flameless candle
takes me!

I hope you will click on over
to the Scentsy link on the side bar
and check out Jen's many great looking burners
and all the wonderful scents!

Her generous sponsorship has helped
me keep the blog alive,
I wish for you all to give her site a visit as a thank you!

Sniff, Sniff, Mmmm!

Yup hot and humid here the humidity today is to make it feel like 116 WOW! Lovely photos I like the candles! We have a old stone/ basement because its the foundation from a old school house that once was here before the farm house, we have a de humidifyer down there and that helps keep it cool down there and takes the basement smell out ! Papa hooked it up and put a hose from the dehumidifyer to the drain so we will never have to empty it it does it on its own ! Have a good day and stay cool.

Hey, order me one of those...the scentsy burner not the sweaty husband!
I love fresh scents, especially when my house has been so closed up!

I hope you're finding ways to stay cool!!

I also had to giggle at the "final step of pickle preparation"! Hmmmm maybe that's why my pickles never turned out quite right (snicker)!

I feel for those who are facing this horrible heat wave. We are in the middle of one of the coolest July's on record ... today was cloudy and misty, with high near 68 degrees. I can't even imagine what it must be like to live where it's over 100! I melt anytime it's over 80.

I am intrigued by the Scentsy - I do believe I will check this out!

And lastly ... yes of COURSE I noticed the beautiful hearts of light. I really really love this!!!

I hope you stay cool and smellin' good!

I have to run the dehumidifier constantly it seems to take the stink out of the air. Today was better here. Hope you are getting a little reprieve also.
