The Flower Ladies

Saturday was a special birthday!

My Mom's sister turned 90....

My cousins gave her a very nice party,

and they all came to celebrate her

milestone 90th!!

there was sandwiches, salads, cake and punch, even

popcorn and licorice!

Which these two fought over the whole time....

The oldest and the youngest playing like two little girls,

hiding their cake and pushing their popcorn around!

(It was too comical...I hope I'm still kidding around when I'm 94!!)

94  +  90  +  81  =  265

My oldest Aunt had me do the math,

and we all added it up in our heads...

265 years, the three girls were all speechless...

I don't think they ever imagined themselves here!!

Don't you always stay the same age in your own mind?

I think these girls will forever be the young flowershop ladies of Lennox....

And that's just fine by me,

because they'll always be the young ladies

that I adore and admire!
