Farm Fresh Friday #5

Welcome to Farm Fresh Friday
(#5...F.F.F.F.)

This week on the prairie...

Weeds, Weeds, Weeds,

We've been fortunate to get
some nice gentle rains...
everything is growing so nicely
INCLUDING
the weeds!!

Sall and will be on our hands
and knees all weekend
cleaning the rows!

If you don't have anything
to do, you're welcome to join us!!

The Local Farmer's Markets get
started this coming week...
I'm hoping to be done with
my painting jobs so I can travel
in to town and check out
some locally grown produce!!

How about where you are?
Are the local markets open yet?

This is a place to share all things FRESH,
 homemade and/or home-grown.
There is no rule that it has to be made by you or grown by you,
just the fact that it was hand made or grown by somebody
and not mass-produced or imported from Timmbucktu is good enough for us!!

Want more details? See our Farm Fresh Friday Page at the top of the blog.

Our farmers market is open and going strong every wednesday and saturday.. love going there!
We're finally getting a gentle rain all day - all the rain dancing has paid off!
I go to our farmers' market every week since I don't have enough room to grow lots of veggies.
The link is not open yet so I'll have to come back later today.

Our Farmer's Market is open, but I have yet to visit it. Unfortunately, most of what is sold are "wares" versus farm fresh fruits and veggies. I may take a trip down to see what is there on a convenient day. It changes every year!

No farmers' market here yet. They are just planting. I am glad that you enjoyed the horse pictures. I am very lucky to be where I am. I had wonderful horses as a kid, but when I became a mom, I had to give them up. Now our daughter's golden boy lives with us. They really are grand creatures, aren't they? I do enjoy your photos; they are quite artistic and I am trying to learn how to use Photoshop to make my photos more artistic. Have a good week-end. I have plenty of my own weeds, by the way.
