Farm Fresy Friday #17
Welcome to Farm Fresh Friday!
this week I've been trying
to
"perfect"
the heat in my salsa!
We like things
spicy here at Sall Farm.
How about you?
Batch #1 was pretty good...
but batch #2 fell a little short...
so then I got out a scale and started
batch #3 was better
but still wasn't packin'
enough heat for Sall!
I got it just right on batch #4...
11 oz. of jalepenos
is Juuuusssst Right
for Papa Smurf!
Now what am I
going to do with 50 jars
of Salsa??
I guess I just started my
Christmas shopping!
{I had a lot more pictures
to share in this post, but
Blogger isn't letting me upload
this week for what-ever reason!}
Other than salsa,
we're still putting up pickles
as they are still growing
and we can pick enough
for around 7 jars every other day!
So it's been pickles and salsa
pickles and salsa,
pickles and salsa,
my kitchen's been a mess
since the beginning...
sink and counters full
all summer long!!
I guess - that's what
a farm kitchen is for right?
Have you been making
anything fresh in your kitchen?
Please share
(messes too!)
Oh, and I just realized this post will be published
on our 9th wedding anniversary!!
We'll be celebrating in K.C. with daughter
and grand-daughters! I'll be back next week
with lots of fresh photos. Hopefully, Blogger
will have this issue resolved by then!

This is a place to share all things FRESH,
homemade and/or home-grown.
There is no rule that it has to be made by you or grown by you,
just the fact that it was
hand made or grown by somebody
and not mass-produced or imported from Timmbucktu is good enough for us!!
