and we all love chickens, Right?



Since we just lost one of our little hens,
I'll dedicate this one to little Whitey ( or should I say old Whitey)
she never got in any of my pictures...
she was always the shy and slow one because of a bad foot.

We think the foot problem finally took her
(so sad, I know)

R.I.P. Whitey

and now we're down to 3...

Sorry for your loss of Whitey . When I was a kid on our farm we had laying hens and banty's I had a banty hen as a pet and named her Charolett she was a grey and white mix colour . We have farms around us here and I hear the chickens all the time and the roosters crowing , I love it takes me back as a kid on the farm ! Thanks for sharing . Have a good weekend !

Poor Whitey . . . you and your sis must have had a wonderful mother to enrich you with the older art and standards. Like . . . the farm, outdoors, raising chickens, gardening, sewing, canning, knitting and more . . .
