The Long Winter

By now we should be accustomed to blizzards in February,

but this year the extreme cold and unusual amounts of snow

has made winter extremely long-winded!

the road disappeared early in January

and the tractor's been getting 

a good work out regularly.

Our cats don't understand why

we won't let them outside...

"Because we want to be able

to find you, my feline friend!"

More blowing snow is predicted to come in tonight...

So, we'll be safe and warm in the company of friends.

Snow bound with friends is the best 

way to get through a long winter...

and city streets aren't near as easy to lose sight of!
