The Beauty Of Winter

I'm not the only one
anxiously waiting
for Spring!

But, we'll just have
to wait it out...

A blizzard is in
our forecast for Tuesday and Wednesday!

The beauty of it is,
I will be
enjoying some time at home
doing things I love to do...

like playing with photos on the computer
reading a new book,
crocheting on a blanket,
maybe even do a little more baking!

We've been so blessed
this winter...

mildly cold temperatures...

no major Blizzards...

and an open road to town all winter long!

the kind of winter I love...

Just enough snow for
pretty photographs...

Just enough cold air
for a good hot summer remembrance!

Just enough winter
for me!

I can endure a little blizzard at the end of February,

because, I know spring is just around the corner!

I hope you are prepared for whatever
comes your way this week!

Im ready for a snow day at home (in the middle of the week, preferred) to sew, cook, clean and watch movies! I might need a couple with that to do list, huh?!

I am wondering if March has a surprise waiting for us in the form of a little snow. We have had such a non-typical winter.

It has been an awesome winter so far! I fear we'll see a bunch of ice before it's over, though. You have snapped some great photos of the winter around you!

So nice that you didn't get snowed in yet. It has been a milder winter, I hope it turns to real spring soon, I am looking forward to some green grass & trees. Looks like you had your brown yuk all covered in a pretty blanket of white.
Hi, just loved visiting this pretty blog! We are having wonderful rain here in Texas........feeling blessed after we suffered through drought and wildfires last year! So enjoyed this post!
